Spelling and grammar issues
Wordscope helps you catch spelling and grammar issues in the target segment while you translate.
- By default, Wordscope’s own spell and grammar checker is active and shows the floating Wordscope Quality toolbar on the target editor.
- If you translate between French and English and you have an Antidote subscription, you can switch to Antidote instead of Settings so Antidote replaces the Wordscope toolbar.
Antidote and the Wordscope spell checker cannot be used together. You pick one option for the target editor in Settings → Options.
Where to choose:
1️⃣ Open the project Settings,
2️⃣ go to the Options tab,
3️⃣ under Spell and Grammar choose Wordscope, Antidote, or None.
Changing the spellchecker requires a page reload.

Tips
1️⃣ Leave Wordscope selected unless you specifically need Antidote on an EN↔FR project.
2️⃣ After any Spell and Grammar change in Options, reload the page.
3️⃣ For Antidote: install the Chrome extension, keep it activated, then select Antidote in Options.
4️⃣ Use Ignore / Ignore Always / personal dictionary on Wordscope suggestions so client-specific terms stop being flagged.
Open a project at https://pro.wordscope.com and check Settings → Options → Spell and Grammar to confirm which checker is active.
