How to subscribe
Wordscope Individual is the subscription designed for freelance translators and independent language professionals who work on their own account. When you subscribe, you choose one of three paid plans — Bronze, Silver, or Gold — and you manage everything from the subscriptions page at https://pro.wordscope.com/subscriptions.php.
Unlike Wordscope Team, which is built for agencies and translation departments with multiple Project Managers on one invoice, Individual covers a single billed user. You create and manage your own projects, and your subscription includes a monthly allowance of AI-assisted words that power tools such as DeepL PRO, Google Translate PRO, Amazon Translate PRO, and ChatGPT for Translators directly inside the editor.

How to subscribe
Subscribing to Wordscope Individual takes only a few minutes in your browser. You open the subscriptions page, select the Individual tab, choose the plan that fits your needs, pick monthly or yearly billing, click Subscribe, and complete payment. Wordscope runs entirely in the browser on Mac and PC, so there is nothing to install on your computer.
It is important to understand that your first subscription uses the Subscribe button directly. Preview your changes is not part of this first step. Preview is used later, after you already have an active paid subscription, whenever you want to change your plan, switch billing interval, or adjust Extra Volume. If you would like to understand that workflow in advance, you can read the Preview your changes page — but you do not need it to complete your initial signup.
Choose a plan — and what is included
Wordscope Individual offers three paid tiers: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Every plan gives you access to the Wordscope editor — translation memories, glossaries, supported file formats, collaboration features, and the rest of the professional environment — plus a monthly allowance of AI-assisted words for the current billing period.
That word allowance is what makes the integrated AI tools work. You do not need to subscribe separately to DeepL, Google Translate, Amazon Translate, or ChatGPT, and you do not need to manage API keys or connect external accounts. Wordscope includes the PRO versions of these services for confidentiality and simplicity, and your included words are consumed when you use AI assistance inside the editor.
On all Individual plans, your allowance can be used with DeepL PRO, Google Translate PRO, Amazon Translate PRO, and ChatGPT for Translators, along with the other AI and terminology features included in your tier. Higher plans generally include more AI-assisted words per billing period and may include additional capabilities that are shown on each plan card on the subscriptions page. Because included word counts can evolve, you should always rely on the numbers displayed on subscriptions.php when you make your choice, rather than on figures you may have seen elsewhere in the past.
Word usage is counted when you use AI assistance — for example when you request machine translation suggestions or invoke ChatGPT for Translators on a segment. Manual translation and editing, where you type or revise text yourself without calling on integrated AI tools, does not consume your allowance in the same way. After you subscribe, you can monitor your consumption at any time on the Usage tab, which is described in detail on the Managing your subscription page.
Choosing the right plan: If you translate regularly and rely on machine translation and ChatGPT throughout the day, a higher tier with more included words will usually be more comfortable than repeatedly topping up on a lower plan. If your workload is lighter or you use AI assistance only occasionally, Bronze or Silver may be sufficient. Remember that you can upgrade later; upgrades take effect immediately and are charged on a prorated basis for the remainder of your billing period.
If you need more words after subscribing: Silver and Gold subscribers can add Extra Volume, which is an optional block of additional AI-assisted words beyond the allowance included in the plan. If you work with a team: When you need multiple Project Manager seats, a team roster, and the ability to invite unlimited linguists to projects under a single invoice, Wordscope Team is the appropriate product rather than Individual. See Wordscope Team for an overview.
Discount coupons: If a discount coupon is applied to your account, you may be prevented from downgrading to Bronze while that coupon remains active, because discount coupons are not valid on Bronze plans. This matters mainly after you subscribe, but it is worth knowing before you choose a plan if you expect to use promotional pricing.
Step-by-step: subscribe for the first time
The following steps walk you through your first Individual subscription from plan selection to payment. Once payment succeeds, you should open the Usage tab to confirm that your plan, billing period, and included word allowance are displayed correctly before you begin working on projects.
A/ Choose a plan
1️⃣ Open https://pro.wordscope.com/subscriptions.php in your browser. Log in to your Wordscope account, or sign up if you do not yet have one.
2️⃣ Select the Individual tab at the top of the page. Make sure you are not on the Corporate / Agencies tab (Wordscope Team) or the Universities tab (Wordscope Campus), unless you intentionally want those products instead.
3️⃣ Read the plan cards for Bronze, Silver, and Gold carefully. Each card shows the included AI-assisted words and the features associated with that tier.
4️⃣ Click the plan that best matches your expected workload and budget.
5️⃣ Choose Monthly or Yearly billing. Yearly billing saves 10% compared with paying monthly for twelve separate months, which is worthwhile if you expect to use Wordscope throughout the year.
B/ Subscribe
6️⃣ Click the Subscribe button.
7️⃣ Complete the payment using the method offered on screen, typically a credit card or PayPal.
8️⃣ When payment succeeds, your subscription becomes active immediately. Open the Usage tab to verify your current billing period, your included words, and how many words remain available in this period.
9️⃣ Create or open a translation project and begin working. AI-assisted tools are available within the limits of your plan and any Extra Volume you may add later.
If you were on a free trial: Subscribing replaces the trial with your chosen paid plan. Once the paid subscription is active, the trial period no longer governs your access.
