Managing your subscription (Individual)
This page explains how to subscribe to Wordscope as an individual user, and how upgrades, downgrades, and Extra Volume work.

How to subscribe (Individual)
1️⃣ Open subscriptions.php.
2️⃣ Select the Individual tab.
3️⃣ Choose a plan: Bronze, Silver, or Gold.
4️⃣ Choose Monthly or Yearly billing (yearly saves 10%).
5️⃣ Click Preview your changes.
6️⃣ Review Charged today and Next invoice, then click Confirm to complete payment.
Trial: If you are on a free trial, you can pick any paid plan to continue without interruption.
Upgrades
Upgrades are applied immediately (prorated):
- Bronze → Silver / Gold
- Silver → Gold
- Monthly → Yearly
- Increase Extra Volume
Proration: When you upgrade, Wordscope charges only the price difference for the remaining days in the current billing period.
Downgrades and cancellations
Downgrades are effective at the end of the current billing period (not immediately):
- Gold → Silver / Bronze
- Silver → Bronze
- Yearly → Monthly
- Decrease Extra Volume
- Cancel subscription
Effective at period end: If you downgrade your plan or reduce Extra Volume, your current plan remains active until the end of the billing period. The lower tier (or lower volume) applies from the next billing cycle.
Discount coupons & Bronze: You cannot downgrade to Bronze while a discount coupon is applied to your subscription. Discount coupons are not available on Bronze plans. Remove the coupon or wait until it expires before selecting Bronze.
Extra Volume (AI Assistance)
Extra Volume lets you purchase additional AI-assisted words beyond the words included in your subscription.
Increases vs decreases: Increasing Extra Volume is charged immediately (prorated). Decreasing Extra Volume takes effect at period end.
Bronze: Extra Volume is not available on the Bronze plan. If you downgrade to Bronze, extra volume is removed at period end.
